The Odyssey of the Mind program teaches students to learn creative problem-solving methods while having fun in the process.  Students learn how to identify challenges and develop team-building skills. They are free to express their ideas and suggestions without fear of criticism, and it rewards “outside of the box” thinking.

There is a selection of problems to be solved, and the teams pick one.  No outside (parental) help is allowed.  The program runs through the fall, and problems are presented in early spring.   You can find more information here:  https://www.odysseyofthemind.com/
